The historic district of Old Heßlingen/Rothenfelde is located in the heart of Wolfsburg. You’re barely five minutes from the pedestrian zone, yet feel like you’re in the countryside. Small half-timbered houses characterise this lovable district. St. Anne’s Church, built in the 13th century, is the oldest building in the city centre The church has been converted, destroyed and rebuilt several times. Not far from it, the wolfsburger figurentheater compagnie is at home in the Bollmohr Barn, enchanting both its young and old visitors during performances with lovingly crafted hand puppets.  The Atelier Café with its special charm and located in a half-timbered house invites you to relax.
