Nature conservation in the Allerpark

Promoting and actively protecting habitats

The Allerpark not only offers recreation, but also a habitat for rare animal species such as beavers and various bird species. The renaturalisation of the Aller has created new biotopes that promote biodiversity. A special highlight are the donation trees that visitors can plant to support the nature conservation projects in the Allerpark and thus contribute to the preservation of flora and fauna.

**Trees as climate protectors and habitats**
The trees in Allerpark are not only a central element of the nature experience, but are also indispensable for our urban climate. They provide shade, improve air quality and offer a habitat for numerous animal species. However, trees are also increasingly suffering from the consequences of climate change: drought, storms, diseases and pests are affecting them.

**Actively support nature with tree donations**
Many citizens would like to actively do something to preserve the tree population. By donating a tree, you can make a direct contribution to planting new trees in Allerpark and other green spaces in the city of Wolfsburg.

**A donation tree as a sustainable gift**
There are already numerous donation trees in Allerpark, which are labelled with a dedication and represent a lasting memory. A donation tree is not only a sustainable gift for special occasions, but also a symbol of solidarity with nature.

**Climate protection starts at 20 euros**
You can make a valuable contribution to climate protection with a donation of just €20.00. For 300.00 euros, you can even sponsor an individual tree. This includes the procurement and planting of a tree as well as maintenance for the first three years. Optionally, you can personalise your donation tree with a dedication and receive a plaque and a map with the exact location.
